  1. Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and brown the seasoned beef strips.
  3. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  4. Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved.
  5. Pour into the slow cooker with meat.
  6. Stir in onion powder, peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, and salt.
  7. Cover, and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
Recipe Notes

Served over cauliflower rice. Recipe serves 8 oz of protein to 1 cups of veggies. Add in a cup of cauliflower rice to make the perfect dinner on phase 1.

Here is how you convert cans of stewed tomatoes to cups.  Remember to use no added sugar only.  The carbs listed will be accounted for in you tomato allowance.
Canned tomato equivalents by weight and cup measure:

  • 1 (16-ounce) can 2 cups undrained tomatoes 1 cup drained tomatoes
  • 1 (28-ounce) can 3 cups undrained tomatoes 2 -2 ½ cups drained tomatoes
  • 1 (35-ounce) can 4 cups undrained tomatoes 2 ½ -3 cups drained tomatoes
